Virtual Individual Therapy Across Alberta
A Human Approach to Therapy for Anxiety, Depression, Relationship Struggles, and Life Transitions
Feeling Stuck, Overwhelmed, or Disconnected?
Reaching out for therapy usually happens during a difficult chapter of life. You may be feeling anxiety, emotional exhaustion, disconnection in your relationships, uncertain of yourself or your direction in life, or stuck in patterns you can’t seem to break.
My approach to therapy is compassionate, practical, and deeply human. I believe real change happens when we begin to understand ourselves honestly, develop healthier ways of relating to our emotions and relationships, and begin responding to life more intentionally rather than just surviving it. A deep, open, and judgment free therapeutic relationship can help you feel the safety and trust needed to truly examine yourself and begin the healing process.
Here are Some Common Concerns Clients Bring to Therapy:
- Anxiety & Overthinking – Constant worry, rumination
- Depression & Emotional Numbness – Feeling disconnected or hopeless
- Relationship Difficulties – Conflict, loneliness, communication or attachment issues
- Self-Esteem & Identity – Self-criticism, insecurity, people-pleasing
- Life Transitions & Direction – Feeling lost, stuck, or overwhelmed during major changes
- Existential Concerns – Questions about meaning, purpose, and fulfillment
Whatever challenges you’re facing right now, therapy can become more than just a way to reduce pain; it can also become an opportunity for growth, clarity, and deeper self-understanding. My goal is to create a therapeutic relationship where you feel safe, understood, and genuinely accepted without judgment. From that foundation, we can begin exploring the patterns, emotions, and experiences that may be keeping you stuck while also developing practical ways to create meaningful change in your life. I believe therapy works best when it helps people not only cope more effectively, but also develop a stronger relationship with themselves, their emotions, and the people around them.
My practice is fully virtual, allowing you to attend therapy from the privacy and comfort of your own home. No commuting, no waiting rooms — just focused, confidential sessions designed to fit more easily into your life. My approach is flexible and tailored to the individual. I draw from evidence-based approaches including Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), and psychodynamic approaches that explore how past experiences and relationships may continue to shape your present life. But more than anything, I try to show up as a human being who genuinely cares.

Meet Your Therapist

Hi! I’m Ari, a Certified Canadian Counsellor (C.C.C.) and therapist offering virtual individual therapy. In my work, I help you better understand what you’re feeling, why certain patterns keep repeating, and how to begin responding to your life in new and more intentional ways. Therapy is a space where we slow things down enough to actually see what’s going on beneath the surface.
As a married person and a therapist, I care deeply about how people actually live their lives, not just how things look on the surface. I try to bring that same grounded, human perspective into my work with clients.
Many people I work with aren’t lacking insight or effort, they’re stuck in patterns of overthinking, self-criticism, emotional overwhelm, or disconnection from themselves and others. Others feel like they’ve been “getting through life” for a long time without really feeling present in it. Therapy is often a place where these patterns can finally be understood, not judged, and slowly transformed into something more workable and meaningful.
Couples Work
I also work with couples who are struggling to make their relationship work. If you are interested in couples therapy please visit my Couples Therapy page.
